Therapy fees

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

Payments:

Your co-pay or deductible amount is due at the time of service provided. I currently accept all major credit cards, check, and cash payments.

Your insurance company will be billed and, following their payment, a second bill with any remaining balance, will be sent to you for payment.

Cancellation Policy:

I request 24-hours for cancellation of sessions. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and/or you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the treatment as booked. Insurance companies do not pay for missed appointments.

Medicaid/Reduced Rates:

I do not accept Medicaid nor bill Medicaid. I do have a limited number of slots reserved for reduced rates for clients who do not have or choose not to use their insurance.

The following are a few options in Anchorage that accept Medicaid are Anchorage Community Mental Health Services, Providence, Denali Family Services and Alaska Child and Family. Sliding scale services are also available at Alaska Family Counseling and UAA Psychological Services Center.

New Client

New client paperwork will be emailed to you so we can get started right away at your first appointment. No need to print anything, it can all be filled out online.

Insurance

I accept and bill most insurances and am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Tricare, and Optum. I am not a Medicaid (DKC) provider and cannot bill Medicaid.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, co-pay is due at time of service.

Please check your coverage carefully. The list below are suggestions to ask your insurance company:

    Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
    What is my deductible and has it been met?
    How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
    What is the coverage amount per therapy session/ co-pay?
    What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
    Is approval required from my primary care physician?
    Are there any limitations to my coverage?
